Life gets kinda hectic with classes all day, meetings here and there, practices every other day, homework, papers, and whatever else. Sorry Im so random with the posts, but I guess thats the best way to sum up how my life is right now....pretty random!
Sooooo tonight was my first night out with my sisters and I had CRAZY fun. Them girls right there....they be gettin' it. Yeah I know grammer grammer but thats the best way to describe how they was doing lol. Every single one of them got a lil bit of party in them and I love them for that. They know how to have a good time. Shout out to me girl B for "fallin over" with me numerous times. We strolled for the first time at this party too. I think that maybe if the the DJ would play the song when we were ready and we had a lil bit more room, it would be better. But it was still fresh anyways (just like my Dougie....get it Steph)! I was happy that some of my friends wanted to come out and support us, so thanks guys =) Fun night tonight, gotta go rest my bones....
A bientot!
P.S. What do hats signify??? hahaha

Supersize with Extra Cheese....Yes Indeed
After much talk about how I would do alot better with my blogging consistency, I clearly slipped and fell into the same path that had once been on. I guess just because the year changes doesnt mean all old habits do. So the best I can say is that I'll work it on it...here's an update
Got back to school on the 8th I think it was. I was really really REALLY excited when I got back although VERY hesistant to leave my nest in the ATL. But I was happy to see my family and friends that I had left back here at HU. Went to Outback that night. Rabbit lost her mind but of course it provided good entertainment so hey, why not!
Had my first day of classes the following day.To much of my disapproval and sadness I was STILL sick (and would continue to be sick until the weekend), so mornings, afternoons, and evenings were a lil rough, but I made it through, tried not to complain too much...no one likes a whiner! One day = 5 classes = 9 to 6 o'clock days. Pretty long but my classes are straight so I dont really mind. And Im taking French...its the bomb, my teacher is the coolest person I've ever seen in real life, no lie lol. I think I have a new role model
FAST FORWARD to the weekend...Me and Rabbit had a battle with Roomie and Cookie. It involved stealing pizza...stealing McDonalds...hiding mattresses...hiding laptops, lamps, and stereos...running through emergency exits...riding shuttle buses for hours...EXCESSIVE running and screaming. Best Saturday I've had in a while lol
Now its back to the school week. Back to the books. I honestly dont feel like reading for my classes just yet. The mindset of school, despite how good my classes are, have not really kicked in yet. But of course life on this DC Campus can always provide entertainment and a story. So I find myself just kicking back and watchin people make a fool of themselves now...better them than me.
And I think I need someone to hold a sign up for on the sideline that says Go Baby....just a thought...reoccuring however...but a thought
Til next time....A tout a l'heure

Sickness....
Its been a couple of days....I've gotten by license FINALLY! =) So yesterday I spent my whole day driving around. And I do mean ALL day. It was like a 9 to 5 job, driving here for my momma, driving there for my daddy, driving to the corner for my brother, just driving everywhere....it almost made me hate driving on just my third day of having my license!
Today was my last Sunday at home, and I had every intention on going to church. Yet when I woke up this morning I was sick as a dog (you know, i never understood that phrase but "you know, old people say it so it sounds right" lol). I had a cold for about a week but it had grown into a fever and swollen glands and body aches and everything. It was just a mess. I couldnt even swallow, which sucked cause I have been crazy hungry all day. So after sitting at the doctors office with my dad for 4 hours and them sticking Q-Tips down my throat and drawing blood....they tell me I have a virus and there is nothin they could do...REALLY NOW? I was quite angry but was in too much pain to say anything. Sooo I have been sleeping all day and sweating out my fever. I really hope it goes away by tomorrow cause I dont wanna go back to school feeling this way...ugh :(

Happy New Year!.....in a Jeep??
Well 2007 is finally over. It was probably the most fun year I have had to date...and probably the most drama filled (and I am happy I dont have to deal with it (or them) anymore...or I hope so). I could go through and recap my year...but when I think about it...somethings I'd rather not remember or go back and write about. Just know that it had GREAT times (Debutante, graduation, Howard, etc.) and it had not so great times. But I can say that my family and my real friends were there for me through all part of it.
So New Year's Eve was kind of a bust. I spent my first minute of 2008 in a Jeep, whispering a silent prayer to myself...thankful to be able to see a new year...and thankful that K.O. didn't kill us driving down Memorial. The house party we ended up at after leaving Club Crunk and Primetime had to be the WACKEST party ever. Really Envasion Ent? Really? It was a mess....picture 25 people, a bottle of Hyp, a bottle of Absolut, a dime bag, and a guy in the kitchen who keeps asking you for a private dance....yeah nice party lol. But I must say as bad as the party was I still ended up having a fun night because I enjoyed the company I was with...so thanks guys! =]
I spent the first day of 2008 sleeping until 1 pm...and it was great! My best bud Bena came over and Gerbie and we watch Ratatouille. Ola and Coco stopped by for a visit too. And FINALLY Tommy was back in GA and came for a visit also! So I guess I can say I had a really nice first day of the year.
So about those New Years Resolutions...I figure I wont set anything that I know by March I wont be doing...so here's the list so far...
1. Clean up my potty mouth (thanks Rabbit lol)
2. Get into an exercise regime
3. Make that 4.0!
4. Leave the drama for dramatic people...dont have the time nor patience.
5. Strengthen my relationship with God
I think thats pretty good so far dont ya think???
Thats all for now...Ta Ta

Official "Adult" Status
Christmas was 2 days ago. On Christmas Eve, I realized I had officially hit "adult" status for I had no presents under the tree. Depressing huh? Not really when you are expecting it. Christmas was still cool though gift wise cause my daddy gave me some money..CHING CHING! lol. But of course, CHRISTmas isnt about gifts anyways so there was no need on dwelling on me reaching to my inner child and unwrapping presents. My little cousins are coming today so maybe I can rip off paper with them. I must say though...Christmas day was kinda boring for me...I slept through most of it. Not purposely, but I just couldn't stay awake! But I did hang with the fam and the friends so it was all good.
Okay now to fill my grievence (spell check) with Atlanta Flea Markets aKa Value Malls. Why don't they open before 11:30 in the morning? Do you not know how much stuff you can have done by 11:30???And then when they do finally open the doors, all the vendors arent even there! So me and my momma driving around Candler Road and Memorial Drive tryin to get some polo shirts...yet NO ONE is there yet in TWO different "malls". By now its noon...and I'm tired from being up at 8 to leave at a decent time. I know better now, thats for sure. I was able to hang out with the best friend though since the "malls" were BSing, so I guess there is a bright side.
Going to see the Great Debaters with my momma....I hope I dont cry like everyone keeps telling me a will...

YaY!!!
Im so proud of my friends for crossing RDO...its really to many to name cuz that would take all day ((but special shoutouts to my 2 brothers, Gerbie, and Rome)). It feels good to see your folk accomplish things, especially they work real hard for it, sacrificing school and family/friend time and sleep. So now they can holler "Hootie mothafriggin Hoo" all day! haha Luv yall!

Its the most wonderful time of the year!!!
Intially I thought this was gonna be a pretty wack Christmas break. The first week I was home was pretty boring, although I did get alot of good movie watching in. But this past week I have had soo much fun!!! My friend, Ms. Jazzy, threw a party and it was like 07 reunion...and nothin can get any more funny than that. I've just had a really good time hanging out with all my friends fom high school that I dont get to see all the time (excopt for Tommy who ran away to Cali for Christmas...BOOO!). It makes being away in DC for school bittersweet because Im so far away and you have to wait months to see them again, yet it make it so much better when you finally do see everyone. I really do ♥ my ATL family!!
Also being home lets you reconnect with those who you just really put in the back of your mind and actually kinda forgot about...as bad as that sounds. So this one boy I used to be really cool with...really REALLY grew up since the past time I seen him...actually he is quite a cutie. Bonus factor is that he feels the same. But pause...he is a marine now! Now, Roomie nows that I love men in uniform, but he is stationed in Cali. So if Im in DC and he is in Cali, what in the world is gonna come of that??? Funny how things happen, guess I gotta let that one go before I even start thinking stuff....ahhh well!
On a pretty disappointing note, I have done no Christmas shopping for my momma, daddy, or brother...just slacking. But me and the BFF are supposed to chill tomorrow, so hopefully that get done then...ugh pray for me...i HATE lines and patience was not a virtue I was blessed with!
